If you aren’t using IG stories to grow your business – we need to talk!
I’m not kidding shoot me a message and we can talk about the struggles you’re having or any questions you have!
If you are using stories…. you already know the power they have on your business. As business owners we know one of the most important things is gaining a know, like, and trust factor with our community.
Instagram stories is one of the most powerful ways to grow the know, like, and trust factor!
But could your Instagram story strategy improve? Possibly gain more clients simply by implementing these tips? The answer is YES!
Here are 3 of my tips to improve your conversion rate:
1. You have to start out the IG story with a hook. If you are educating/doing a mini-training or promoting your business do not start off talking about your day or what you ate for lunch. People will swipe by to the next story and never make it to where you are talking about your offer. Get to the point on the very first slide.
For example: “Today I am going to teach you how to _______” should be your caption on your first slide.
THEN at the end, if you want to talk about your day and get personal – go ahead! The people at the end of your IG story are YOUR people – they want to hear more from you!
2. CAPTION YOUR STORIES! But not just bits and pieces of the story to where it doesn’t make sense – which I see a lot.
You have to imagine someone is watching your stories without sound! BECAUSE THEY ARE! After I do a story I will turn off the sound and go back and read through my captions from beginning to end and ensure it makes sense!
3. Speaking of the end! Always have a call to action at the end of your story! PS – a call to action at the end isn’t “Have a nice day”. It has to be along the line of, “Was this helpful?” “Do you struggle with this?” “Would this kind of support be helful in your business?” etc…..
The algorithm loves when you use the tools that the platform provides such as polls, slider emoji, question box etc. for your call to action or you can simply tell them to DM you.
The algorithm will pick up that people are engaging with your story and will show it to more people!
